The WaterTrail including the spike, onto which the bottle fits, is made from carefully selected plastics and those, which carry the water, are approved for food contact. The waterTrail is completely, replaceable instead of sanitising the cooler with cleaning fluids; you simply remove the WaterTrail and replace it with a new one. This operation takes minutes and can be carried out at the customers premises - true innovation and ultimately hygienic.

Unlike our competitors, this system does not require the use of any chemicals and there is no need to take the reservoir back to base for a full sanitisation programme. The replaceable WaterTrail system ensures a high standard of sanitisation every time.

EBWA define sanitation as the process of cleaning followed by disinfection and should cover: - Cooler exterior, Drip Tray, Non - spill system, Internal reservoir baffle, Reservoir and Pipe work and Taps.

EBWA suggest a number of reasons why bottled water coolers need to be sanitised on a regular basis.

Slime and taste problems may otherwise occur.

To remove scale from the reservoir and hot tank.

•

To eliminate contamination of the cooler by Pseudomonas, Aeruginosa and Coliforms

which may be picked up from the customer and environment.

To eliminate algae picked up from green bottles.
